AAARRRGGGHHH... If you want to avoid hangovers, do not stop drinking- that the simple but effective truth of Mr. Lemmy Killmister, which we foolishly ignored. Now we suffer badly. This is actually the second day of KAVARNA ROCK FEST 2010. It's fuckin' hot! plus we expect a second wave of summer stroms today. Yesterday corpses still lie around the camping tents. No signs of snakes though. Where's Kuman today? We start to wonder if everything is alright. This unpleasant feeling and the sudden smell of the last night festival food products in the toilet this morning only add to our embarassment. Cleopatra looks mischievously, like a cunning fox among chickens.

The stadium looks like last night's mayhem never happened. These are results from the hard work done by people like Kuman. He gets up so early that we all agreed it is still night time. Our friend Alex has gotten up early too and the soundcheck is gooing on quite smoothly. Meanwhile JARKKO of KORPIKLAANI visited us in our mobile studio. The bass player of the band made himself clear on his alcoholic preferences. "Nobody likes warm vodka in this hot weather, but cold beer." JARKKO did not recognize any Russian elements in their famous song 'Vodka' and admitted that right now the band is not on tour. They are travelling to Germany tonight to take part in a concert of their friends IN EXTREMO. It also became clear that KORPIKLAANI have already written all the songs for their forthcoming album and are starting to record them next month.

At 17:20 sharp there was a massive rush to the barrier. Some were faster than others. It all depends on the size of bellies and tits, you know?
At 18:00 KORPIKLAANI are taking the stage by storm with their 'Vodka'. The crowd just loves them as averybody is chanting their name. There are people danicing and spilling their beers. Good fun.

KORPIKLAANI

19:10. DESTRUCTION. The start is overwhelming. Only after a few seconds of an epic intro, there's a fucking storm of thrash metal classics- 'Curse The Gods' Рё 'The Butcher Strikes Back'. During 'Devolution' there's a massive slam dance circle pit in the crowd, then the massacre continues with another very well known track, 'Eternal Ban' from 'Eternal Devastation' (1986). Of course a proper DESTRUCTION gig couldn't have been complete without 'Life Without Sense', 'Tormentor' or 'Bestial Invasion'. 'Mad Butcher' put the expected but still devastating classic 'Mad Butcher'.

DESTRUCTION

20:30. SODOM open their set with 'The Saw Is The Law'. It's getting dark and its obvious that tonight there will be considerably less people than last night. SODOM are about to play classics too. At least that was the conclusion we drew from 'Outbreak Of Evil'. No worries. We fully enjoyed 'Remeber The Fallen', 'Ausgebombt' and 'Bombenhagel'. Fucking awesome!
Obviously there won't be any summer storms tonight. We will probably escape them, but we won't escape one certain Cleopatra for sure. There are only two bands tonight and we will have to go back to our hotel. Spooky shit.

SODOM

KREATOR are easily total headliners who really bring back the audience balance from the last night. The crowd went mad. Between the songs Mille Petrozza makes a clear statement that it's not a rock festival anymore, but a fuckin' thrash metal festival. Then, after 'Vilent Revolution' he dedicates the last track off their contemporary album 'Hordes Of Chaos', 'Demon Prince' to all the Bulgarian fans and demands a huge mosh pit. Consider it done, Mille.В  The encores start with 'When The Sun Burns Red' РѕС‚ 'Coma Of Souls' (1991) and then Mille raised the Bulgarian flag saying KREATOR have their own flag- 'Flag Of Hate'. Then he compared KAVARNA ROCK FEST to WACKEN and called it even better. Everything ended with the absolute thrash anthem 'Tormentor'. KREATOR fucking rule. Period.

KREATOR

Like last night, the crowd, in its majority, is leaving the stadium. AUTUMN SUN close the second night in front of less than 400 people, scattered in all directions of the stadium. The fiesta is now on the streets, in the camping site and in the bars. Good night, Kavarna!
