According to publications on the website of Billboard and an article in The Los Angeles Times, one of the most popular American bands of the 1990's, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, will reunite for a performance at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this spring in California.

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, Bjork and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will lead the line-up. The event will also feature a reunion gig from Crowded House, as well as The Arcade Fire, Sonic Youth, Air, The Roots, Willie Nelson, Interpol, Manu Chao and Fountains of Wayne.В

RATM got famous with the song “Killing in the Name” and were known for combining left-wing rapping with enraged rock music.

The band fell apart in 2000 when singer Zack de la Rocha left. A year later the other band members created Audioslave with Chris Cornell, formerly of Soundgarden, as a vocalist.

Meanwhile, it transpired that  former RATM/current Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello is to release his first album under name The Nightwatchman. The CD is to be called “One Man Revolution” and shall come out in late April.
