About the forthcoming new album and the lineup changes and everything

They are one of the most beloved bands in BulgariaВ .

It seems that it's burgeoning in their camp in Seattle, so we hook up with their guitarist Val.

and emailВ interview conducted by Vassil Varbanov

SO, TELL US EVERYTHING ABOUT THE NEW ALBUM...

The album is done. Recorded, mixed and mastered. Ready for duplication, promo and distribution.

DO YOU HAVE A TITLE?

We are working as we speak on the artwork and the ongoing title,
unless something changes at the last minute is 'Integration'.

HOW MANY SONGS?

11 songs which I'm super excited about, I think it is a next stage
and step in the development of the band. 8 in English, 3 in BalkanВ
languages.

AS FAR AS WE KNOW - YOUR BASS PLAYER MASA AND THE OTHER GUITARIST MARIO LEFT THE BAND, WHY THE HELL?

Hm, in the last three years we recorded 2 albums and toured like crazy and all of it took it's toll on the band, our personal livesВ included. Masa and Mario felt exhausted and drained, both physicallyВ  and creatively and didn't feel like they can effectively contributeВ any longer to the band.

So, they left in October '08 and we had toВ chose who to continue with, how to shape the sound of the band and В
how to finish the work on the new album, which was partially written.

SO, WHO'S PLAYING ON THE ALBUM?
So, we invited people we know well, feel comfortable creatively andВ on a personal level to join us, finish the album and hit the roadВ together.

Guy

Guy Michael Davis, well known for his amazing bass work with theВ bands Sage (mid 90s), Guardian Allien and BenJovi, is our new bassist, he plays banjo and bunch of other strange instruments that I cannotВ pronounce, considering he grew up in Indonesia.

Paris Hurley - a violinist extraordinair substituted for Matty NobleВ during the epic month and a half summer tour '08. In the process ofВ it she became part of the bunch and was a natural choice for theВ album and the upcoming touring season.

Джино и Парис

Amy Denio recorded and toured with us as a sax and clarinet player onВ 'Fucc the INS'В and 'Kultura-Diktatura' she jumped in the mess too.

Along with the new folk, Gino is doing what Gino does best - singing like insane and being insane, I'm playing guitars all over the place,В Chris Stromquist is drumming.

Matty Noble recorded on the album violin number two, but is not a part of the touring plans of the band.

AND WHO IS SUPPOSED TO RELEASE THE ALBUM, AS BILL GOULD SHOULD BE QUITE BUSY WITH THE FAITH NO MORE REUNION, TO RUN HIS LABEL NOW?В

You remember, we released 'Live in Europe' on our own label, Kultur Shock Records. That's the label who owns the rights of the new album,В too, considering that Billy has a bigger fish to fry right now, hisВ hands are full with FNM reunion. Considering the current state ofВ music distribution, we are trying to find new and creative way toВ bring our music to the widest possible audience and shorten theВ
distance to the people that love and support what we do. More aboutВ
it is to come in the next couple of months, as it is more clear whoВ we are going to partner with for that.
