Tangra Mega Rock'sВ first birthday concert turned into an unforgettableВ event for these three thousand fans who attended the puk/ska party at Sofia's Hristo Botev Hall on March 23... Actually, we should add the date March 24, too, because the show started a bit after p.m. and lasted until 1 o'clock in the morning...

To mention the titles of the 70 songs played during that night, or the names of the 30 musicians who invaded the stage would be absolutely useless. Those of you who were there know exactly what we're talking about, andВ for those who couldn't make it we're publishing some photos of the performances by The Toy Dolls, Hypodil, Mark Foggo's Skasters, C4В and Waste of Time...

As already mentioned, everything began on March 23, a bit after 7 p.m., with the first band for the evening - Bulgaria's female-fronted young punk rockers Waste of Time:

The second ones to take the stage were another bunch of local punk rising stars - РЎ4 (featuring members of Last Hope, Switchstance and T.V.U.):

Then came the time of the Dutch stars of the evening, Mark Foggo's Skasters:

Mark Foggo and his crew made the entire hall dance for more than an hour and singing along to ska evergreens like "Skadansk", "Ska Pig", "Ramona from Barcelona", Chris Isaak's "Blue Hotel" and, of course, the smash hit "Hashish from Amsterdam".

Fourth on stage came Bulgaria's most famous and loved ska/punk gang during the last 15 yearsВ -В Hypodil!

Finally, sometime a little before midnight, the official headliners of the evening appeared in front of the euphoric crowd: The Toy Dolls!

Olga, Tommy Goober and Mr. Duncan entertained the 3000 maniacs for more than 70 minutes with songs from their entire career - starting with the 1983 debut "Dig That Groove Baby" on going on through jolly punk classics like "Nellie the Elephant", "Idle Gossip", "I've Got Asthma", "Alec's Gone", "Back to '79", etc., etc.В - 26 tracks in total, including two encores.
