Legendary ROCK'N'ROLF - the leader of RUNNING WILD will talk live on the phone to Vassil Varbanov on his very famous 'TANGRA METAL SHOCK' tonight.

RUNNING WILD will release a brand new studio album called 'Shadowmaker' on 20 April through SPV/Wizard'.

'TANGRA METAL SHOCK' kicks off at 10 pm BG time (9 pm CET) tonight. 

YOU HAVE NEVER PLAYED IN BULGARIA, DESPITE THE FACT THAT IT HAS GROWN AS A HUGE HEAVY METAL TERRITORY WITH THOUSANDS OF RUNNING WILD MANICACS, HOW COME? 

Throughout the last years it has always been a problem as RUNNING WILD was not a REAL band, but a solo project with hired musicians.

So we had some time schedule problems, you know. If you don't have a real band to which you can say, OK, in two months we can do some shows or a tour...something like that, it takes you half of year just to get the band together, to get the stuff together.

It has always been a problem - to do an album, then a German tour and get immediately back in the studio to write the songs for the next album.

That was a little bit of a problem for me throughout the last years and more and more heavy to go to that kind of stuff.

We palyed some festivals in Italy, Spain and in Sweeden. But it was a problem as RUNNING WILD was a solo project and not a full band with four members who are in the egar together, so to speak.

SO, TODAY CAN WE SAY THAT WE ARE CLOSER TO A RUNNING WILD SHOW IN BULGARIA THAN EVER?
It's hard to say now, but there will be now show in 2012 because of the schedule.

That is impossible, because now, I am doing the promotion for the album and after the Summer will have to finish another project I started out with my guitar player PJ.

It's called GIANT X and which we just left off nearly about half of the project, because I did the RUNNING WILD record.

So, we have to finish that one and it will take us to the winter, something like that.

So, the first opportunity to think about playing live and we won't play a tour, that's for sure, I don't want to do that anymore, we now want to do some event stuff or doing some festivals, but I didn't made up my mind so far, what I will do and when I will do it.

But, NOT this year.
