Jim Clench, who was bassist for both April Wine and Bachman Turner Overdrive, has died at the age of 61.

He was a member of April Wine from 1971-75, appearing on four albums, the last being 'Stand Back' in 75.В 

He joined BTO in 1977, staying for two years, until the band split up.

In 1992, he joined the reunited April Wine, staying for four more albums, before quitting in 2006.
