ELTON JOHN to become a newspaper editor
17 November 2010Elton John is set to become a newspaper editor – guest-editing the December 1 issue of The Independent.
The singer will be helming a special World Aids Day issue of the UK publication, with profits from circulation revenues set to go to the Elton John Aids Foundation.
"I was thrilled to be invited to guest edit The Independent," he said. "I'm really looking forward to spending a day in the editor's chair, and I'm pleased to get the chance to put the subject of Aids at the top of the editorial agenda."
