BRIAN JOHNSON crashes pub gig
07 December 2010It’s been another record-breaking year for the biggest rock band in the world: AC/DC made over $130 million in the past twelve months, and sold nearly two million of the planet’s 34 million concert tickets in the same time.
But at the other end of the spectrum, frontman Brian Johnson may have played to his smallest audience in 30 years when he recently crashed the stage at an Irish bar in his home town of Sarasota, Florida.
It’s not the first time he’s appeared with his friends the Greg Billings Band, but it could be one of his best cameos. Three video clips below show Johnson laughing with musicians and fans, and saying of You Shook Me All Night Long: “It’s the first lyrics I wrote for AC/DC – and it turned out pretty well.”
