Singer/songwriter KT Tunstall is hoping to break into Hollywood by landing a part in a film.

The Scottish rocker admits she came close to scoring a movie role recently, but the job didn’t work out.

But she’s determined not to give up as she has long dreamed of acting on the big screen, and can even see herself as a film writer.

She tells Scotland’s Daily Record, “There was a sniff of a film role in Los Angeles recently but it didn’t come together. I’d much prefer to do something kooky. I would definitely be open to something like that, particularly writing for films. I’d just love it to happen.”
