Megadeth, Anthrax Members Team Up
14 December 2010Megadeth main man Dave Mustaine and former Anthrax guitarist Dan Spitz are making an album together.
Mustaine revealed the news to New Zealand’s 3news.co.nz and said that Spitz invited him to work on the record, which will be released under the moniker Deuxmonkey.
"He was working on a little side-project I’d heard a while ago and I asked him, вЂDo you think it’s done?’ He asked me why and I said, вЂWell, I would kind of do this and that.’" Mustaine said.
"And he said, вЂGo ahead.’ So I rolled up my sleeves and completely dedicated myself to Danny’s record."
Mustaine said the album sounds like Soundgarden, Disturbed and Rage Against the Machine. He also said that Megadeth will begin recording their new album in the new year.
