TRAIN's 'Soul Sister' Most Downloaded Track of 2010
23 December 2010Last week Apple released their download statistics for the most downloaded songs of 2010.В
Taking the top spot on the list was Train's hit single, 'Hey, Soul Sister' that was downloaded more than 4 million times in the US on iTunes according to Apple.
“It was absolutely the song you could not get away from in 2010,” iTunes editor Alex Luke told Alternative Addiction. “It’s one of those songs that crossed all different radio formats, and it was just everywhere.”
The track was the first single off of Train’s 2009 release, вЂSave Me San Francisco.’ В
Train was the only Alternative band in the list of top downloaded songs on iTunes which included Katy Perry, Eminem, and Taio Cruz.
