Bulgarian rock & blues hero VILI KAVALDJIEV dies at 65
28 December 2010Bulgarian blues rock legend Villy Kavaldjiev passed away on the morning on December 28.
He was 65 years old. Villy began his career back in the 1960s and went on to perform with Lira70, Impulse, Golden Strings, Tangra and many others.
He also recorded three solo albums, the first one coming out in 1981 and the last one - in 1994. He enjoyed success in the 80s with his blues show "The Blues" and was at the forefront of the Bulgarian democratic movement a decade later.
Tangra Mega Rock would like to extend our condolences to Villy's family.
