The Boss will make a guest appearance on Irish American punk band the Dropkick Murphys’ new album Going Out in Style. Bruce Springsteen duets with the band’s frontman Ken Casey on a cover of 'Peg O’ My Heart,' best known perhaps as the theme tune to BBC TV series The Singing Detective.

Casey told NME.com: “It links two generations. We’re spanning a lot of years of music here, yet our songs share similar themes, stories, and values.”

The album also features an appearance form NOFX’s Fat Mike. The record is scheduled for release on February 28. Dropkick Murphys have announced a tour of Europe.
