THE BLACK CROWES: Chris Robinson announces new band and tour
03 February 2011They haven’t even stuck a fork in The Black Crowes and Chris Robinson has moved on.
While the Crowes still have a series of European dates to play in July before embarking on their indefinite hiatus, frontman Chris Robinson has already booked the first tour for his new project.
Pollstar reports the Chris Robinson Brotherhood will spend the spring touring California with several residencies throughout the state.
The trek begins in late March and wraps in late May, featuring 33 tour dates at 13 venues.
Tour dates include five shows at Los Angeles’ Echoplex (March 28, April 11, April 25, May 9 and May 23), five shows at Santa Barbara’s Soho (March 29, April 12, April 26, May 10 and May 24), and five shows at San Diego’s Casbah (March 31, April 14, April 28, May 12 and May 26).
Robinson and his band will also be making stops in San Francisco, Visalia, Felton, Sausalito, Sacramento, Pioneertown, Grass Valley, San Luis Obispo, and Big Sur.
