BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD Coming Back This Year

It was briefly mentioned last year, but it's now official: Classic animated series Beavis And Butt-Head is returning to TV sometime this year.

The news was announced yesterday at MTV's Upfront Presentation in New York by the cast of Skins.

Justin Bieber was in attendance, and expressed his excitement over the series' comeback via tweet. Let's just clear something up: Bieber was only a year old when the series premiered in 1993 and most likely has never even heard of many of the obscure '90s one-hit wonders that were critiqued on the show, including The Toadies and Tripping Daisy.

Before going off the air in 1997, Beavis And Butt-Head managed to whip through 200 episodes, amass a cult following of degenerate metalheads and starred in their own full-length feature film, Beavis And Butt-Head Do America, which spawned the iconic animated video for the Red Hot Chili Peppers cover of The Ohio Players' "Love Rollercoaster."

There's no word when exactly the slacker duo will return to the small screen, but fingers crossed they will take over the time slot for either Jersey Shore or Teen Mom 2.В
