It now appears that Gary Moore died from natural causes.

Despite one report that he choked on his vomit, official reports from Spain, where the iconic guitarist died on February 6, now suggest Moore probably died from a heart attack.

A police spokesman commented:

“Mr Moore died of natural causes and his death is not in any way suspicious. An investigating magistrate has opened a standard inquiry to determine the exact cause of death.”

Further tests on tissue samples will now be conducted before a final report is released.
