Canadian metal innovators Voivod will release a new live album, ‘Warriors Of Ice’, on June 17 via Indica Records.

The CD was recorded on December 12, 2009 during the band's first headlining show in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in ten years.

Glen Robinson, who previously worked on Voivod's ‘Nothingface’ album recorded this live effort.

‘Warriors Of Ice’ features classic songs from Voivod's ‘War And Pain’ (1984) and ‘Angel Rat’ (1991) albums as well as tracks from ‘Infini’, released in 2009. All of the band's greatest hits can be found on this record - everything from ‘Voivod’ to 'Nuclear War' and ‘Tribal Convictions’ and even a remake of Pink Floyd's ‘Astronomy Domine’ - thus making it a must-have release for die-hard Voivod fans as well as a great introductory album for new fans in the making.
