Atlanta-based progressive metallers MASTODON recently finished recording their follow-up to the Crack The Skye album with producer Mike Elizondo at Doppler Studios in Atlanta, Georgia.

The new album - due out later this year - will be titled The Hunter and follows up their recent live DVD/CD, Live At The Aragon. Two song titles from the forthcoming album are 'Blasteroids' and 'All The Heavy Lifting'.
