A Turkish pop starВ is obviously borrowing in herВ 'Tuttu FД±rlattД±' song parts ofВ KULTUR SHOCK'sВ 'Tutti Frutti'В released in 2004.

Here's what the band from Seattle has to say:

"Music is out there to be shared. We shared and took ideas of other artists through out 15years of our existence. We took the idea for this very song from the old Romani song also apearing in the movie Gadjo Dio. We borrowed many musical lines and parts from our rich traditional kultural heritage and released it on our albums. We however did openly acknowledged it and repeatedly thank our traditional music for the ideas and the inspiration.

Kultur Shock is not a commercial project. Profit and fame are not our priorities. We would be happy to share our music for free with true independent artists who are also sharing same ideas, fostering social justice and human rights, but not with commercial corporations (in this case major record label. Pasaj Muzik.) and their shiny golden pop stars who care about nothing but their financial gain.

Therefore it's only fair that they share that profit with others, less fortunate then them. We don't need their money. Pasaj Muzik can give 5000.00 E to the Roma Orphanage in Istanbul for using our music without asking - and we will call it even.

Peace,
Kultur Shock"

KULTUR SHOCKВ will be headlining the Jack Daniel'sВ ROCK ArenaВ during the second night of theВ Spirit of Burgas 2011 festival on 13 August.
