JACKYL Frontman Recuperating After Motorcycle Accident

Jackyl frontman Jesse James Dupree is recuperating at home following a motorcycle accident on Route 411 by the Georgia/Alabama state line. Dupree was struck by an automobile, suffering a broken left ankle and foot, fractured right arm, and significant bruising to his lower back, alongside a severe case of road rash.

The Jackyl front man and co-star of Full Throttle Saloon on Tru-TV is expected to make a full recovery.

Said Dupree, “Thank you everyone for reaching out. I’m all good. Broken foot and bruised body and right arm, but I faired better than the bike. It was my Heritage soft tail and I sure did love that bike. We Ride On…”

Formed in 1990, Jackyl has enjoyed a career stretching two decades, bringing a hybrid of Southern metal to millions. From the band’s debut in 1992 via Geffen Records to their 2010 release ‘When Moonshine And Dynamite Collide’ and through to today, they are notorious as one of the hardest working bands in rock. Jackyl holds two Guiness world records, one for staging 100 shows in 50 days, and another for performing 21 concerts in a 24-hour period.В
