THE STREETS' Mike Skinner launches new project with THE MUSIC's Rob Harvey
24 October 2011The Streets' Mike Skinner has launched a new musical project with former The Music frontman Robert Harvey.
The pair have joined forces to form new act The Dot. The pair have already posted up a series of tracks on their official website The-dot.net, with Harvey taking up the lead vocals on the majority of the songs.
The duo previously worked together on The Streets' final album 'Computers And Blues' including the tracks 'Going Through Hell', 'Soldiers' and 'We Can Never Be Friends'.
The Streets are set to close the curtain on their 10-year career next month at The Big Reunion over the weekend of November 18-20 and 25-27.
Before that The Streets will play their final London show at the Freeze Festival in Battersea Power Station over the weekend of October 28-29.
The Music recently brought the curtain down on their own 10-year career with a trio of UK shows.
