Last summer the STATIC-X frontman Wayne Static gave us some inside information about his forthcoming solo debut and commented on the album's theme by saying;

"The Pighammer concept conjures up bizarre images. It’s about a mad plastic surgeon, with a pig fetish, that likes to convert hot chicks into pigs. It is the total opposite if what a plastic surgeon would do. He has this crazy hammer device made from a pig foot. The images of the surgery in the CD package are only a dark comedic visualization of the real theme of the album, which is my transformation."

Now, the album is officially out and Stefan Topouzov hasВ a bloody controversial review about it:

"The perfect hybrid between 'Vulgar Display of Power' and 'Psalm 69'. This is the musical vision Wayne Static has been pursuing for over a decade as the frontman of Static-X. Well, he now continues in the same direction by himself with his debut solo album 'Pighammer'... Which is not that different actually, as Mr. Static claims he had been writing all of Static-X's music anyway an then showing it to his bandamates."
