Nicolas Cage's son Weston has filed for divorce from his wife after six months of marriage.

The rocker filed documents on 27 October to start divorce proceedings from Nikki Williams.

The 20 year old took to his Facebook.com page to reveal the news, writing, "WELL ITS OFFICAL (sic). THE DIVORCE IS SETTLED! ..................LADIES, DADDY IS BACK ahahahhahahaahh oh god! its on."

The pair wed in New Orleans in April.
