The Doors will debut their first new song in 40 years next week – and yes, it  does feature late vocalist Jim Morrison.

The song is called She Smells So Nice, and was originally recorded for the 1971 album LA Woman.

It was discovered by co-producer Bruce Botnick. This is said to be very bluesy, with the band hammering away at full throttle. But we shall all get a chance to make our minds up when it’s streamed from 5pm UK time on Monday, January 9 on the band’s official Facebook page.  

She Smells So Nice is to be included on a double CD reissue of LA Woman, which will also include another never released track in Rock Me, plus seven alternate versions of songs from the original album.
