DROPKICK MURPHYS working on new album
29 December 2011Boston's Dropkick Murphys have posted a holiday message for their fans, and in that message reveal that they're planning their next album, less than a year after their last album, 2011's Going Out in Style.
The band states that they "are currently writing a brand new record that will be recorded in April and released in September. And it's pretty damn fun so far!"
Additionally, they are finishing up a re-release of Going Out in Style, which will include audio and video from the band's shows at Fenway Park over the summer.
The band says they will be adding more shows to their annual St. Patrick's Day week shows in Boston, as well as more 2012 dates in general. They previously announced a series of shows with Frank Turner for early 2012, leading up to St. Patrick's Day.
