BONNIE RAITT is Back
04 January 2012BONNIE RAITT will release her first album in seven years and it’s called Slipstream.
USA Today is reporting that the renowned blues singer and guitarist has been taking a break for the past few years after losing her parents, brother and best friend.
“I took a hiatus from touring and recording to get back in touch with the other part of my life,” Raitt, 62, said in a statement.
The 12-track album features blues, rock and soul including a cover version
Bob Dylan’s 'Million Miles' and Loudon Wainwright III’s 'You Can’t Fail Me Now.'
“It’s just a new batch of great songs,” said Raitt, who will tour again this year.
