One-Time FLEETWOOD MAC Guitarist Dies
09 January 2012Bob Weston, who was briefly a member of Fleetwood Mac in the early 70s, has died at the age of 64.
The guitarist joined the band in 1972, replacing Danny Kirwan. He appeared on the Penguin album the following year, and then toured with them, before being fired in 1974. His departure paved the way for the arrival of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.
Weston went on to record solo albums and was also a member of the All-Stars Band with Steve Marriott.
