SUBWAY TO SALLY Bastard (2007)
06 December 2007
One of the bands that always stick to their German language is Subway to Sally. Their new album continues this tradition - all of the lyrics are in it. The euphonious “Bastard” is chosen for a title and is onе of the few things which are different in this disc in comparison to the older records.
The succession is not a bad thing, but when it is always presented as a same attitude to the process of composing as this happened several times with Subway to Sally, the positive effect is missing and its rating is formed as a result of the listeners’ boredom.

He is one of the emblems of Subway to Sally and that is why we are not surprised by the lack of real singing, but after he did this serial times now, we can easily be cheesed-off.
The last important thing about “Bastard” is that you should not build your opinion on it from its inadequate cover. The choice is really strange, but the content should lead your estimation, although it does not give answers to many of the questions arising...
