Denver, Colorado quartet PLANES MISTAKEN FOR STARS has completed work on its new album, entitled "Mercy".

"Mercy" will see an October 3, 2006 release via Abacus Recordings.

The critically acclaimed band recorded "Mercy" with producer extraordinaire Matt Bayles (ISIS, PEARL JAM, MASTODON).

The follow-up to 2004's "Up In Them Guts" contains eleven songs:

07. Killed by Killers who Kill Each Other
