Former RUFFIANS Bassist Dead At 41

RUFFIANS, the reunited power metal band that at one time featured in its ranks late VICIOUS RUMORS frontman Carl Albert, has issued the following statement:

"After a long, hard-fought battle with several debilitating health problems, our longtime friend and bassist for many years, Dan Moura, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Keep him in your heart for a while."

Dan Moura was 41 years old.

RUFFIANS recently signed a deal with Metal Heaven Records. The band has been ensconced at Trident/Imperial Studios in Northern California recording their much-anticipated new album for an October 2006 release.
