OPETH will be playing for teh first time in Sofia on 1 March for radio Tangra Mega Rock's SIXTH Anniversary bash.

According to Swedenabroad.com, in celebration of OPETH’s nomination to the Swedish Music Export Prize and the Swedish Grammy Award, the Ambassador of Sweden hosted a reception at the Swedish residence where the band members had the opportunity to meet representatives from the local music industry and music bloggers.

The reception took place in connection with the band performing live at the Fort Gate, Fort Canning, Singapore on February 9th.

In his welcome speech, Ambassador Ingemar Dolfe, highlighted Sweden as one of the top five music exporters in the world and applauded the success Opeth had achieved on the world stage. He emphasized that the music industry is important for people's image of Sweden abroad and that the talented musicians and songwriters have helped to put Sweden on the world map.

Tickets for the OPETH concert in Sofia, priced 40 BGN are available via www.Ticketstream.bg and www.Eventim.bg. They will go up to 45 BGN on 1 March.
