DEPECHE MODE’s Dave Gahan Lends Vocals To Electronica Song
28 March 2012DAVE GAHAN’s libidinous croon is most infamous in his fronting of Depeche Mode, but his vocals sound good everywhere–including on his latest contribution to SOULSAVERS’ new single, 'Longest Day.'
Gahan’s voice is layered over the downtempo electronica band’s signature sound throughout the SOULSAVERS’ fourth album, The Light The Dead See, which is released on May 21.
And he’s not the only member of DEPECHE MODE trying their hand at electronica contributions before the band heads into the studio to work on music together.
Bandmate Martin Gore also collaborated with Erasure’s Vince Clarke for a techno project called VCMG.
