GODSMACK frontman SULLY ERNA is currently playing some solo dates before the band regroups to hit the road again late next week.

ERNA is out promoting the upcoming release of 'Avalon Live,' a live DVD/Blu-ray featuring the singer performing material from his 2010 solo effort, 'Avalon.'

The DVD was filmed at Erna’s Boston show on December 16, 2011. An update on the project’s release comes from director Dan Catullo:

"For anybody wondering - 'Avalon Live' will be released as a box set this Spring (probably late April) and then in 3D and as a single disc (Blue Ray 2D and in 3D) in the Fall.

The box set will have 3 DVD's (the show, the 'Journey To Avalon' documentary and a behind the scenes doc), 2 CD's, a book, T-shirt, guitar pick, poster, incense, etc and a custom metal Sully Erna engraved metal box with a suede lining! Only 5,000 will be available!! Start spreading the word!!"

Some video of Sully’s Sunday night show in Huntington, NY has surfaced, including his acoustic cover of Metallica’s 'Nothing Else Matters.'
