If there’s one former member of GUNS N’ ROSES who desperately wants to capitalize on the band’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, it’s Steven Adler.

The drummer, however, has been making headlines recently for all the wrong reasons, publicly hurling insults at the current GNR lineup while hoping to actually play with his former bandmates once again at the event.

Adler has referred to present-day GNR as “Axl and His Hacks,” for which he offered an apology that was accepted by guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal. Adler then decided to rephrase his choice of insults, calling the band “scabs.”

“I said the wrong word,” he explained. “I meant to say 'scabs.' But, you see, 'scabs' are something that… Big factories, when the main workers would go on strike, the factory would get people off the street and they would call them scabs.

I wouldn't say they can't play. I would just say more the main people are on strike, [and] this is what Axl's got going. Of course they're great players, or they wouldn't be playing with Axl."

Aside from the Rock Hall madness, Steven’s been working in the studio on his debut album with his current band, now known as “Adler.” The group features frontman Jacob Bunton (Lynam, Mars Electric), and Lonny Paul (Adler’s Appetite).

"I love the music that we're creating!" states Adler.

"I haven't been this excited about my band since the GN'R days. Jacob is exactly the singer I have been searching for. He has an amazing range and is a great writer and frontman. Lonny is an amazing guitarist and songwriter and the vibe is amazing!"

Timed to sync up with the media attention he’ll get from the Rock Hall induction, Adler will issue their debut single, 'The One That You Hated,' on iTunes on April 10th.
