Stream NORAH JONES’ new Album
17 April 2012The last time we heard anything from Norah Jones, it came in the form of last year’s stellar Rome - the “spaghetti western soundtrack” project led by producer Danger Mouse and Italian composer Daniele Luppi, which featured vocals by Ms. Jones herself and Jack White.
In the summer following the release of that album, the singer and the producer got together again, for the purpose of writing and recording her fifth solo release: …Little Broken Hearts.
And it’s now available for streaming.
While we always respected Norah Jones’ work in the past, there’s something that makes this new record of hers stand out, and we can’t help but think it’s Danger Mouse’s imprint – not only as a producer, but as a co-writer.
Having last produced The Black Keys’ El Camino (which sky-rocketed them into Madison Square Garden-filling status), he changes Jones’ sound into something arguably more appealing, richer in texture than the usual singer-songwriter album. Listen here, and see for yourself.
