ROBERT PLANT to debut new band on 8 MAY
19 April 2012ROBERT PLANT returns to live action next month with a low-key warm-up show and a new band.
This Is Gloucestershire reports Plant will debut his new band, The Sensational Space Shifters, at a May 8 concert at the Gloucester Guildhall in Gloucester, England.
"It gives me great pleasure to announce Led Zeppelin frontman and award-winning solo artist Robert Plant will be performing an exclusive low-key warm-up show at Gloucester Guildhall next month,” said Programming and Marketing Manager Joe Schiavon.
"This is obviously a massive show for us, and we can't wait to host it.”
The show, entitled Robert Plant Presents Sensational Space Shifters, will be his first with his new band, ahead of a busy summer festival schedule.
The band will include members of Plant’s former backing band, Strange Sensation, along with regular collaborator Justin Adams.
