After their latest album El Camino burned up the charts and got the band to sell-out Madison Square Garden, it was reasonable to expect a carefully calculated move for their next video.

The video for Gold On The Ceiling, described as “a film by Harmony Korine,” is definitely one of the weirdest things we’ve seen recently – it would be the weirdest, if it weren’t for The Flaming Lips. And also The Flaming Lips.
