THE ROLLING STONES have updated their iconic logo to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

The 1969 artwork by John Pasche, which first appeared on their Sticky Fingers album in 1971, has been modified by Shepard Fairey.

Mick Jagger says:

It’s a very different group than the one that played 50 years ago. One part of me is going, ‘We’re slightly cheating,’ because it’s not the same band.

Only Keith and myself are the same people, I think.”

The band haven’t confirmed how they’ll mark their milestone, but are reported to be meeting in London next month to discuss it.
