Strange but true: Iggy Pop has paired up with Bethany Cosentino of surf-pop combo Best Coast to record a duet for TV vampire drama True Blood.

Let’s Boot And Rally was featured on last night’s episode of True Blood, as screened via HBO in the US.

You might remember the last season of the show featured a cover of The Zombies’ She’s Not There by Nick Cave and singer/songwriter Neko Case.
