DEVILDRIVER Dez records charity song for sister
29 August 2012DEVILDRIVER frontman DEZ FAFARA has recorded a track in order to raise funds for his sister’s breast cancer battle.
He’s collaborated with studio colleagues Greg Weiss and Logan Mader to prepare the song Dark Meadowland, which he describes as “badass.”
Fafara’s sister Kerri is facing years of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which will cost much more than her health insurance will pay.
She says: “We have two daughters still at home, we’ve relocated to be close to the treatment centre. But the cost of two years of what’s called ‘out of pocket maximum costs’ are definitely a burden.”
Fafara has asked fans to consider making a donation to Kerri’s treatment fund.
