Video: FREDDIE MERCURY extra stories
18 October 2012Eagle Rock Entertainment have released an eight-minute clip from Freddie Mercury documentary The Great Pretender, entitled Extra Stories. View it below.
The film presents unseen material from the band’s archive with the aim of showing a new side to the singer, who died in 1991.
It includes Mercury and Rod Stewart singing their demo for Take Another Piece Of My Heart, an unreleased song from 1984, a snippet of the unreleased Michael Jackson collaboration There Must Be More To Life Than This, and Mercury with the Royal Ballet in 1979.
Brian May and Roger Taylor are interviewed along with Queen manager Jim Beach and others.
The Great Pretender is on sale now.
Brian May recently said the long-awaited Mercury biopic, starring Sacha Baron Cohean, is likely to appear in 2014.
