THE BREEDERS are back.

Kim Deal (The Pixies), Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs and Jim Macpherson first performed together in June 1992.

Two days later they were supporting Nirvana, and just over a year later they released Last Splash featuring the hit 'Cannonball.'

According to Noise11, Kim texted Jim and Josephine to ask if they'd be interested in playing the Last Splash album in celebration of its 20th anniversary.

The band reconvened in November to run through the material, and they're perform Last Splash live in its entirety in June 2013 at the ATP festival in Camber Sands in the U.K., which is curated by Deerhunter.

A deluxe edition of Last Splash will be released in April 2013, titled LSXX.
