Veteran Canadian punks D.O.A. have announced they are to split up this year, after 35 years together.

They are often referred to as the "founders" of hardcore punk, along with Black Flag, Bad Brains, Teen Idles, and Middle Class.
 
Main man Joe Keithley now intends to pursue a political career and probably working even more with his record company Sudden Death Records.

D.O.A. will be playing their last show TONIGHT - January 18, 2013 in celebration of the band's thirty-five year anniversary
