Dean Ween and Les Claypool are teaming up for a reality show.

According to NJ.com, Deaner (real name Mickey Melchiondo) will be shooting a pilot for a ‘quirky’ show that will mix his love of fishing with music and comedy.

The show will feature Melchiondo and Claypool as they head out each week and fish in exotic locations with a special celebrity guest.

The show will be produced by South Park masterminds Matt Parker and Trey Stone and Melchiondo shares that the goal is to get the program on after Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations or Tosh .O.

The former Ween guitarist claims that the show is “…a fishing show that you do not have to be into fishing to enjoy.”

The plan is for him and Claypool to create the soundtrack for the show as well.

No word as to when this show will actually make it on the air, but we will keep you updated. In the event you want to catch Les Claypool in the not so distant future, he will tour the west coast with his Duo De Twang outfit later this year.
