W.A.S.P. Frontman Black Lawless Injured in Car Accident
04 June 2013W.A.S.P. announced late last week that they have been forced to cancel all of their upcoming appearances this summer at assorted European music festivals because frontman Black Lawless needs to undergo surgery for an injury suffered in a car accident.
The band issued the following:
"Blackie Lawless was injured in a vehicle related accident that resulted in him breaking a leg. Complete recovery is expected following surgery.
"W.A.S.P. apologizes with all sincerity and say to all of our fans that we will be back next year bigger and better than ever. Blackie would also like to thank in advance all of those who wish to make inquiries about his well-being."
The band had planned to play the festivals as part of their '30 Years of Thunder' celebration.
