PLACEBO have released a video for their track Too Many Friends from upcoming album Loud Like Love.

It features American Psycho novelist and screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis as commentator during a violent event which may – or may not – have been caused by reliance on technology.

Neither Ellis nor PLACEBO offer a full explanation of events at the end; but viewers are offered 30 seconds to make their own decision.

Loud Like Love, the band’s seventh album, is released on September 16.
