Classic Rock have premiered two versions of new Gov't Mule track 'Forsaken Savior', the album recording, alongside a bonus version featuring guest vocals by Dave Matthews.

With the upcoming release of Shout, their first record in four years, Gov't Mule will offer an "unprecedented twist" – the 11-track disc will be accompanied by a second disc featuring alternative takes of each song with a big-name vocalist.

Collaborators include Glenn Hughes, Myles Kennedy, Steve Winwood, Dr John and Elvis Costello.

Frontman Warren Haynes says: "No one's done this before, which is exciting – but it's even more exciting actually listening to these artists sing our songs. Their performances bring new ideas, energy and sometimes even different meanings to every number."
