STONE TEMPLE PILOTS sue former frontman Scott Weiland (and Scott counter-sues), the band looks to be moving on swiftly with new front man, LINKIN PARK’s Chester Bennington.

Along with a slew of fall tour dates, the band have chosen High Rise to be the title of their new EP, which is slated for an October 8th release (via 13Star Records).

The EP will feature five songs that the band has been working on with Bennington, and the cover art is now available.

The band is listed as ‘Stone Temple Pilots With Chester Bennington’, which should put to rest some of the fans pleading that “it can’t be STP without Scott Weiland”.
