We are proud to premiere ANNEKE VAN GIERSBERGEN’s latest track Drive – hear it below.

The former Gathering vocalist and regular Devin Townsend collaborator releases her new solo album, also called Drive, on September 23 via InsideOut.

She says: “In a time when entire albums are being created by transferring files online, I really wanted to do things the old-fashioned way and record an album together with a group of musicians in a studio.

“The album is infused with enthusiasm and freshness – I’m really happy with it.”

VAN GIERSBERGEN will take part in Mike Portnoy’s cruising festival Progressive Nation At Sea in February 2014 alongside Transatlantic, Spock’s Beard, Townsend and others.

Catch her live at Rock It club in Sofia on November 28 – part of a European tour that takes in Germany, Belgium, Austria, Italy, France and the Netherlands.
