Christian metallers TOURNIQUET have announced that KING'S X singer/bassist Dug Pinnick will record vocals for one song on the band's new album, Onward To Freedom.

Tourniquet recently checked in with the following update:

"Legendary guitar genius Phil Keaggy is set to play a lead on Onward To Freedom!

Where do we even start with Phil? He has released more than 50 albums and contributed to many more recordings in both the contemporary Christian music and mainstream markets.

He is a seven-time recipient of the GMA Dove Award for Instrumental Album of the Year, and was twice nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Gospel Album. He has frequently been listed as one of the world's top-three 'finger-style', as well as finger-picking guitarists by Guitar Player Magazine readers' polls. Above all, his humility is always evident: 'I can’t read a note,' he says. 'I can’t even read tablature; but I can read my fretboard. I can close my eyes and play by faith, and not by sight.'
